Data privacy statement
Thank you for your interest in our online presence. The protection of your personal data is very important to us. At this point, we would therefore like to inform you about data protection in our company.
It goes without saying that we comply with the statutory provisions of the German Data Protection Act (BDSG), the German Telemedia Act (TMG) and other data protection regulations.
The subject of data protection is personal data. According to § 3 para. 1 BDSG, these are individual details about personal or factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, information such as name, postal address, e-mail address or telephone number, but also usage data such as your IP address.
Scope of data collection and storage
Our website does not store any personal data. Google Analytics is not used. The websites are hosted on servers in Germany. We do not use cookies to track our visitors or similar - cookies are only used as far as it is necessary for the technical functionality of the website and the placement of advertising by Google (TM). We do not pass on any data about visits to third parties. To the extent that Google places ads on our websites, Google places cookies.
However, every access to our homepage and every retrieval of a file stored on the homepage is logged. The storage serves to optimize the website and its findability on the Internet. Logged are: Name of the retrieved file, date and time of the retrieval, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, web browser and requesting domain.
Further personal data is only collected if you provide this information voluntarily, for example in the context of an inquiry or registration. No data is transmitted to third parties.
If you select products on our order page, a shopping cart is generated at our distributor Shareit when you click on "Order" and you are forwarded to their ordering system. This distributor collects personal data, because without them an order processing is not possible. The given address, e-mail as well as ordered products are transmitted back to us for the electronic dispatch, but not information about the used payment system (e.g. credit card number), apart from the choice of the payment system itself. You will receive the ordered software from Share-IT.
The ShareIt order page is subject to its own privacy policy: https://secure.shareit.com/shareit/privacypolicy.html
All software products manage their data locally. We have no access to this data. The software only goes online in the context of license management (activation, blocking, moving) or updating. Here no personal data is stored, only the license key, the IP and the time.
